Milwaukee Brewers Odds to Make the Postseason: Race Will Come Down to the Wire Ahead of Mets Series

The Milwaukee Brewers are undoubtedly kicking themselves for letting the NL Central division race slip out of their grasp to the surging St, Louis Cardinals.

As it stands, the Red Birds hold a pretty convincing eight game lead over the Brewers in the division, but that’s not to say the Brewers have no chance of making a run to finish the season.

After taking two of three games against the Yankees this weekend, the Brewers have set up a critical series against the New York Mets this week.

The Brewers are currently on the outside looking in on the National League playoff picture, sitting two games behind the Philadelphia Phillies and 2.5 games behind the San Diego Padres for second and third place in the Wild Card race. And given that the Brewers’ quest to the postseason may go down to the final week of the seasons he odds have been set at a tight mark.

Milwaukee Brewers Odds to Make the Postseason

According to DraftKings, the Brewers are currently slight underdogs to make the postseason at +120. They’re -140 to miss out on the three-game Wild Card series altogether.

After their successful weekend against the Yankees, the brewers are confident heading into their series against the Mets and final weeks of the season.

“It’s just fun this time of year,” Brewers starter Brandon Woodruff said over the weekend to the New York Post. “I love playoff baseball, and hopefully we can keep stringing together some wins and get in, and you never know what’s going to happen.”

The Brewers will kick off their series against the Mets at 7:40 ET.
