Best NBA Bets Today: Rudy Gobert Will Own The Glass in Washington

The NBA is roughly a quarter of the way through the season, with most teams having 20 games under their belt. Today there are two player props that stand out among the rest of the slate. Let’s dive into the best NBA bets for Monday, Nov. 28.

Best NBA Bets Today: Game Tips & Betting Predictions

Timberwolves-Wizards Bets

The Washington Wizards host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday in a battle between two teams in need of a win. Minnesota was on a five-game winning streak before dropping two straight games to bring their record back to .500. Washington is in a similar rut, losing all three in their recent road trip. The Wizards are back at home tonight for one game before heading to Brooklyn on Wednesday. Look for Rudy Gobert to dominate the glass and go over his rebound prop tonight.

Gobert comes into tonight’s contest leading the league in rebounds, averaging 12.7 per game, slightly down from his past three seasons with Utah. This decrease was to be expected playing alongside Karl-Anthony Towns. Towns seems to be the one conceding the boards to Gobert, with his rebounds per game dropping to 8.5 rebounds on the season. Gobert leads the league in rebound chances and is pulling down 29% of the team’s rebounds. The Wizards rank 19th in opponent rebounds per game, allowing 52.1 per game.

Gobert has eclipsed 11 rebounds in 10 of 18 games this season. The Wizards are allowing 13.83 rebounds per game to centers. Gobert is playing consistent minutes night after night, so there is no need to worry about reduced minutes in the second game of a back-to-back. The Wizards have the sixth-best percentage defending shots at the rim, which could open up more offensive rebounding chances for the Timberwolves. The only way the Wizards win this game is if they can outrebound the Timberwolves, which will be a tough task against Gobert and Towns defending the paint. Look for Gobert to grab 12-plus rebounds on Monday.

Best NBA Bet for Timberwolves-Wizards: Rudy Gobert Prop: OVER 11.5 Rebounds

Suns-Kings Bets

The Phoenix Suns face off with the Sacramento Kings inside the Golden 1 Center on Monday. These two teams have not yet played each other this year but split the series 2-2 last season. The Suns are coming into this game after squeezing out a 1-point victory over Utah Jazz. The Kings are entering this game after falling to the Boston Celtics 122-104. Sacramento’s De’Aaron Fox is primed to go over his points props at home on Monday.

The Suns have struggled to defend on the perimeter this season. They have allowed their opponents to shoot 37.6% from deep, which is the 27th in the league. Tonight will be a good matchup for Fox and the Kings who average the fifth most three-pointers made per game. Fox has seen an uptick in three pointers made per game this season up to 2.1 per game. If Phoenix struggles to apply more pressure, the Kings will look to light them up from beyond the arc. The Suns continue to play without Cameron Johnson (knee) and Chris Paul (heel), who were a huge part of this Suns defense last season.

Fox is averaging 25.1 points per game this season. His point prop line has been hovering around 25.5 points, so now is a chance to take it advantage of a lower line after a few bad shooting nights. Usage, minutes and shot attempts have not changed, so there is no reason to be alarmed about fewer shot attempts. The Suns are allowing 25.15 points per game to point guards, and Fox has cleared this number in four of his last six matchups versus Phoenix. Cameron Payne is nowhere near the defensive caliber of Paul. Look for Fox to shine and go over 23.5 points tonight.

Best NBA Bet for Suns-Kings: De’Aaron Fox prop: OVER 23.5 Points
