NBA Parlay Picks Today: +424 Bet for Tuesday
Michael Porter Jr. 15+ Points & Nuggets -5 (NBA Player Prop/NBA Betting Pick)
I was a bit stunned when the lines didn’t move to some crazy numbers once news that Tyrese Haliburton will miss the next three games dropped earlier this morning.
So, for Leg 1 of our NBA parlay today is going to be a mini same-game parlay from Nuggets-Pacers: Michael Porter Jr. 15+ points and Nuggets -5.
MPJ has gone for 15+ in four of his last five games, which includes a 25-point game against the Pacers just nine days ago.
The Pacers struggle to defend the small forward position. They’re giving up 23.6 points per game on the season (second-most in the NBA); and if you zoom in on the last 30 games … they’re giving up over 25 per game — most in the NBA.
Now, obviously, Haliburton isn’t going to be on the court tonight for the Pacers like I mentioned earlier. Thus, this feels like a great spot to get the Nuggets at only -5.
The Pacers have lost five games without Haliburton. And the margins of defeat have all been 5 or more points. Indiana actually has an average margin of defeat of 20 points, but that includes a 51-point blowout loss to Boston, so I’m pretty much going to throw that one out.
But, if you look at the other four games, they lost by 50 combined points for an average margin of defeat of 12.5 points. The Nuggets should be able to cover the 5 here.
Pelicans Moneyline (NBA Betting Pick)
I’ll just be brutally honest with you, there was a part of me that REALLLLLLLY wanted to fire up the Pelicans spread here (-6.5) and get the odds spiced up REAL NICE on this parlay.
But I am a big scaredy cat.
Real talk, your boy wants to hit a parlay some kinda bad after going through a little mini dry spell here.
The Pelicans have only played in one game where the score finished within 5 points — win or loss — in their last 12 games. So, they’re either just CRUSHING teams, or getting completely waxed.
But, we’re just taking the moneyline.
Like the old man coffee at the poker table, we’re playing a little scared here — just waiting for the other shoe to drop somehow and crack his nut straight. I told you, we’re playing a little scared here tonight.
But, I think the Pels will take care of business at home tonight and defeat the Jazz. The main reason why I’m not taking the spread? The Jazz have looked pretty deec lately.
Knicks Moneyline (NBA Betting Pick)
Now here’s a team that I can never seem to get right whenever I try to get frisky and bet their spreads. The New York Knicks have given me the blade more times than I can count this season.
So, tonight, we stab back. Well, not ACTUALLY, but, you get what I’m saying here.
The Knicks are coming off a curb-stomping of the Toronto Raptors (126-100 win), and traveling back into the Empire State for tonight’s game against the Brooklyn Nets.
I’ll give the Nets a slight bit of credit, they’ve looked at least a LITTLE bit more competitive of late and held their own against the Clippers a few nights ago.
However, the Knicks should be pretty well-rested since they haven’t played since Saturday. But, forget the spread, we’re going straight-up, rawdog moneyline tonight.
