Best PrizePicks NBA Props | December 4

Domantas Sabonis Over 6.0 Assists

Domantas Sabonis is one of the best passing centers in the league, averaging 10.1 potential assists and 6.4 assists per game this season (second only to Jokic in both categories). Sabonis had six or more assists in 17 out of 21 games this season (including in seven straight games), and he should continue flourish as a distributer in tonight’s matchup against the Bulls. Chicago allows its opponents to average the fourth-most assists per game (27), and opposing centers have done particularly well distributing the ball against them, averaging the fifth-most assists per game (4.46). While this is the back end of a back-to-back for Sacramento, Sabonis only played 26 minutes in yesterday’s blowout win over the Clippers, so he should be relatively fresh.

Sabonis is projected for 6.1 assists in today’s game, and his assists prop on PrizePicks is 0.5 lower than it is on most books. Given the positive matchup, PrizePicks’ softer line and Sabonis’ projection, taking the over on his assists prop should return value.

Best PrizePicks Prop: Domantas Sabonis OVER 6.0 Assists

Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 17.5 Points

Jaren Jackson Jr. made his season debut on Nov. 15 and has been relied upon as a scorer from the get-go with Desmond Bane sidelined (as will be the case today). Jackson has a 27% usage rate while averaging 19 points, 13.1 field goals attempts (out of which roughly five are 3-point attempts) and six free-throw attempts per game in the seven games he played this season. He went over today’s points prop (17.5) in five of these games and is in a great spot to go over it again today facing the Pistons.

Opponents score an average of 118 points per game against the Pistons, second most in the league. Detroit is particularly vulnerable to opposing power forwards, allowing the second-most points to the position (23.81). In addition, the Pistons allow opponents to shoot very well from within five feet of the rim (66.4%, fifth best), whereas Jackson shoots best from that range (64%). Jackson is projected for roughly 18 points in today’s matchup, so the over on his PrizePicks points prop looks like another solid bet.
