CFB Prop Bets: Championship Saturday Prop Bets

Kansas State-TCU Prop Pick: Deuce Vaughn Under 119.5 Rushing Yards

The Kansas State Wildcats have had a phenomenal season, playing themselves into the Big 12 Championship game this Saturday. However, College Football Playoff hopeful TCU Horned Frogs stand in their way. TCU is undefeated at 12-0 and have one of their toughest tests of the season in this matchup.

Kansas State RB Deuce Vaughn has been outstanding for Kansas State this season. Vaughn has rushed for 1,295 yards along with seven touchdowns. The Wildcats’ opponent, TCU, has been known for their explosive offense, but their defense has been in question; especially as of late. TCU ranks 71st in the FBS in total defense which isn’t a great spot to be in for a team who is trying to win championships. Expect a big day on the ground for Deuce Vaughn.

That being said, even a big day out of Vaughn may still not be enough for him to go over the extremely high number his rushing prop is set at. The Kansas State running back is projected for 110 rushing yards in our Stokastic CFB Projections, so look at the under of 119.5 yards. Vaughn should still provide a major boost for Kansas State to pull off a potential upset, but this number is way too high.

Final Kansas State-TCU Prop Bet: Deuce Vaughn under 119.5 Rushing Yards

UCF-Tulane Prop Pick: Tyjae Spears Over 122.5 Rushing Yards

The Tulane Green Wave have been a pleasant surprise this college football season. At 10-2, they are poised to make a New Years’ Six bowl game if they can get over their last hurdle on Saturday. Tulane will be facing UCF in the American Athletic Championship. They are a 4-point favorite in this matchup.

One major reason why Tulane has been so successful is their exceptional run game. Running back Tyjae Spears has played great and he will need to be at his best again on Saturday. Luckily, UCF isn’t elite at stopping the run by any means. They rank 71st in the FBS in rush defense and 99th in opponent yards per rush attempt. Spears is primed for a huge day. Look at the over of 122.5 yards rushing for Spears, as he is projected 128 by Stokastic for this Championship Saturday.

Final UCF-Tulane Prop Bet: Tyjae Spears over 122.5 Rushing Yards

Purdue-Michigan Prop Pick: Ronnie Bell Over 51.5 Receiving Yards

The Michigan Wolverines blew out the Ohio State Buckeyes last Saturday and they have firmly placed themselves in the College Football Playoff picture. Yes, a loss may not matter for the Wolverines playoff hopes but they don’t want a letdown this late in the season.  The Purdue Boilermakers will be their next test for this weekend. Purdue somehow came out on top of a Big Ten West that seemed physically inept when it came to playing football for most of the season.

Wide Receiver Ronnie Bell was huge for the Wolverines last week, hauling in three catches including a 33-yard reception which seemed to start to flip the momentum in the Wolverine’s favor. Purdue is going to have their hands full against the Wolverines. The Boilermakers rank 70th in the FBS in opponent pass yards per game and Michigan showed last weekend that they are a multi-dimensional offense against one of the better teams in the country. Bell is projected by our Stokastic tools for 59 receiving yards in the Wolverines’ matchup with Purdue. Betting the over of 51.5 receiving yards for Bell is a solid college football prop bet for this Saturday.

Final Purdue-Michigan Prop Bet: Ronnie Bell Over 51.5 Receiving Yards

Clemson-UNC Prop Pick: Drake Maye Under 297.5 Passing Yards

The Clemson Tigers will square off against the North Carolina Tarheels as the two schools vie for supremacy in the ACC Conference. UNC quarterback Drake Maye has looked like a Heisman contender for a good majority of the season. If he was on a team that was a playoff contender, Maye might be on his way to New York as a finalist for the prestigious award.

Although Clemson has not had the season they’ve hoped, they have still played football the way they know how, and that is with strong defense. The Tigers rank 18th in the FBS in total defense which will be a key for them to finish out the season in positive fashion. Expect Maye to find some success, but the Clemson defense will be a major challenge for this North Carolina offense. Maye is projected for 269 passing yards in our Stokastic College Football projections. Look towards the under of 297.5 yards for Maye on Saturday.
