Justin Fields vs. Aaron Rodgers: Which Quarterback Ranks Better For Fantasy Football, DFS

Both Aaron Rodgers and Justin Fields have been managing injuries in recent weeks, but with the Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers rivalry game slated for Week 13, both quarterbacks are expected to give it a go Sunday. Ahead of the game, let’s take a look at the Justin FieldsAaron Rodgers fantasy football & DFS rankings. Nonetheless, onto our Justin Fields Week 13 fantasy ranking, as well as our Aaron Rodgers Week 13 fantasy outlook.

Aaron RodgersJustin Fields Week 13 Fantasy Football & DFS Rankings

Per our Stokastic weekly quarterback rankings, Justin Fields (No. 6 on the board) ranks slightly higher than Aaron Rodgers (No. 20). Using our player compare tool, Fields projects out at at 20.44 points, while Rodgers sits at 16.50.

In DFS, it’s a similar story, as our expert projections list Fields ($7,400) as a more valuable play than Rodgers ($5,800) for the slate despite being listed at a much higher price.

After taking a hit in the waning moments of a Week 11 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, Justin Fields sat out Week 12 with a shoulder injury. But after receiving treatment, the Bears have opted to throw the second-year quarterback back into the fire.

“It’s great,” Bears head coach Matt Eberflus said to ESPN. “Obviously when you get your starting quarterback back, a guy that’s electric like that and makes a lot of plays for our football team, it’s obviously a big boost in the arm to the whole football team. Guys are excited out there, not only the offensive guys but the defense and special teams. Everybody’s excited that he’s out there moving around and being himself. Certainly missed him last week.”

Aaron Rodgers has been dealing with a broken thumb since Week 5, and had to leave last weekend’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a ribs injury. Still, he’s adamant that he wants to remain on the field until the Packers (4-8) are mathematically eliminated from the postseason. Luckily for the future Hall of Famer, he’ll be going up against a banged up Bears defense that just let Mike White carve them up for 315 passing yards and three touchdowns in Week 12.

Rodgers has notoriously “owned” the Bears since taking over as the Packers quarterback, winning nine of the last 10 matchups and going 8-2 against the spread during that time. Bears fans are desperately hoping that Justin Fields is the quarterback who can turn the tide in the classic rivalry, and even thought he Bears aren’t expected to win this week, the young QB is looking to showcase his dynamic skills in return from injury.
