Bengals vs. Browns Betting Odds & Trends: Bettors on Nick Chubb & Joe Mixon Touchdown Props for MNF

The Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns betting trends for Monday Night Football are indicative of the way both teams are trending through seven weeks of the season.

Despite a slow start, Joe Burrow and the Bengals (4-3) have come on strong lately, including back-to-back wins over the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons in the past two weeks. The Browns (2-5) have struggled over the past month, losing four consecutive games (Falcons, Chargers, Patriots, Ravens) entering Monday night.

Monday Night Football Odds & Trends

Per BetMGM, the Browns are now 3-point home underdogs against the Bengals despite opening at 3.5-point dogs. The Bengals (-175) are also considerable money line favorites over the Browns (+145). The over/under is set at 45 after opening at 47.

Per data analyst John Ewing, bettors are heavily favoring Burrow for the rivalry game. 68% of bets and 62% of money is currently on the Bengals spread, with 59% of bets and 72% of money on the -175.

Nick ChubbJoe Mixon Props Popular

According to the report, the most bet props for Monday Night Football are on Joe Mixon to score the game’s first touchdown (+600), Nick Chubb anytime touchdown (-250), Tyler Boyd under 62.6 receiving yards (-120).

Chubb is currently tied with Detroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams for the NFL league lead with eight touchdowns on the season, and he’s found the end zone in all but two of the team’s seven games so far on the season. Mixon, on the other hand, has just two rushing touchdowns on the season, but added one TD catch.

However, the Browns defense has struggled mightily against the run this season, ranking 28th in rushing defense and allowing two rushing touchdowns in each of their last four losses.

Without Ja’Marr Chase available for the Bengals for the next 4-6 weeks, Boyd will likely be seeing more targets for the time being, but perhaps the 62.5 yard mark is too high, even given the circumstances. Boyd is coming off a massive 155 yard performance in Week 7, but has only had over 60 yards one other time during the season, and has been reliant on the big play thus far.

For the Browns to remain relevant in the AFC this season, they’ll need to pull off the upset at home on Monday Night Football.
