Bills vs. Patriots Weather Report: Is Winter Ready to Fall Upon New England?

December in Foxboro usually means we have some classic “football weather” games. And over the years, when the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots square off against each other, we’ve been treated to some epic games involving snow, wind sleet, and other conditions that makes it hard on each team.

But unfortunately for most fans wanting to see conditions play a factor, the Thursday Night Football game to kick off Week 13 appears to have a rather clear look to it.

Bills-Patriots Weather Report

Per the Weather Channel, there is little to no chance of precipitation for Thursday Night Football. The conditions are expected to remain clear and in the mid-30s throughout the battle, and although some gusting winds are currently taking over the Boston area, those are also expected to die down before kickoff.

The mild weather report might come as some good news for the Patriots, who have struggled enough to move the ball on offense. Despite a strong rookie season, quarterback Mac Jones has taken a step back thus far, with just six touchdowns and seven interceptions. However, Jones and the Patriots were able to find success moving the ball in the Thanksgiving loss to the Minnesota Vikings. In that game, Jones completed 28 of 39 passes for a season-high 382 yards and two touchdowns.

In the week prior, Jones’ offense failed to move the ball at all in a 10-3 win over the New York Jets at Gillette Stadium, with their lone touchdown coming on a punt return in the fourth quarter.

The Pats were able to benefit from playing in a dome last week, so perhaps the calm conditions will give them an opportunity to operate the offense in a way that keeps Jones comfortable and in rhythm.

New England is currently a 3.5-point underdog, per BetMGM.
