Chiefs vs. Bills Betting Odds & Trends: Public Bettors Hammering the Over in Hyped Playoff Rematch

With Week 6 of the NFL season in full swing, many football fans are looking forward to the most exciting matchup of the day: the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Buffalo Bills.

The game will mark the first time the two teams have met since Kansas City eliminated Josh Allen‘s Bills in an instant classic in last year’s divisional round of the playoffs.

Even though Kansas City will play host to the Bills, it’s Buffalo who’s currently the 2.5-point favorite (per DraftKings) in the AFC tilt. However, it’s the over that has public bettors clamoring.

Public Bettors Hammering Over in Chiefs vs. Bills

Per BetMGM’s John Ewing, 89% of bets are on Chiefs-Bills OVER 54.5. Ewing would also note that an NFL game has hit the over seven of the last 10 times the public was taking it at over an 80% clip.

In the playoffs, the offenses shined for both the Chiefs and Bills, with the Chiefs ending up winning 42-36 on a Travis Kelce touchdown in overtime.

“We’ve moved on,” Allen said via Heavy. “we’re ready to focus on this week and I know everybody in the media is going to make a big deal of it but as players, it really is just our next game on our schedule. It’s the biggest one we’re playing because it is the next one.”

“Nothing that we did last year carries over to this year,” Allen added. “So, we just gotta go out there again in a hostile environment. We know how their crowd is. It’s a fantastic place to play in, it’s one of the special places you can play in the league. Looking forward to the challenge and it’s a really good team that we’re about to go play.”

Allen might be saying all the right things after the gutting playoff loss, but he’ll be playing with a little bit more of a chip on his shoulder on Sunday.
