Cowboys vs. Eagles Best Player Prop Bet: Jalen Hurts Will Dominate on Sunday Night Football (October 16)

The Philadelphia Eagles come into this game being the lone undefeated team in football at 5-0. They will host their division rival in the 4-1 Dallas Cowboys, led by backup quarterback Cooper Rush.

Cowboys vs. Eagles NFL Week 6 Best Player Prop

Jalen Hurts O/U 19.5 Pass Attempts

Jalen Hurts has been one of football’s most surprising stars. He continues to soar up the MVP ladder and has led the Eagles to the best record in football and Super Bowl contention. Hurts and the Eagles will look to cement their lead in the NFC East against the Cowboys, who have been stout on the defensive end. These divisional games always play close, and that will impact Hurts’ passing attack.

Rush has done well at maintaining leads this year. Matthew Stafford and the Rams found themselves in an early hole last week against Dallas and had no choice but to have a pass-heavy attack. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has made an effort to let Hurts pass at will. Hurts has gone over this line in three of five games, with the two misses coming in Week 1 against the Lions and Week 4 against the Jaguars in a rainstorm. The Eagles played with leads all game against the Vikings and Commanders, and Hurts was able to complete 26 and 22 passes.

The Cowboys are allowing the 10th-most pass completions per game (23.2), in large part due to carrying a lead. The spread is 6.5 in favor of the Eagles, but nobody would be shocked to see the Cowboys come to Lincoln Financial Field and give the Eagles a run for their money.

Opposing starting quarterbacks have gone over this line in four of five games against the Cowboys, and Hurts projects for 23 completions.
