Jakobi Meyers vs. Gabriel Davis: Who Has More Fantasy Football & DFS Value on TNF?

Will Jakobi Meyers or Gabriel Davis shine on Thursday Night Football? Ahead of the New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills game to kick off the Week 13 slate, let’s take a look at the Gabriel DavisJakobi Meyers fantasy football & DFS rankings for those starting to plan out their lineups.

Gabriel DavisJakobi Meyers Fantasy Football & DFS Rankings

Per Stokastic’s weekly wide receiver rankingsJakobi Meyers (No. 22 on the board) ranks slightly better than Gabriel Davis (No.38). And with Stokastic’s player compare tool, Meyers projects to have 12.63 points against the Bills defense, with Davis projecting out at 10.26.

In DFS, Stokastic’s expert projections also have Meyers listed as a more valuable play for the prime-time slate even though he costs a little bit more.

Meyers was questionable for the Thursday Night Football showdown with a shoulder injury, but ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported hours before kickoff that he is expected to suit up for the divisional game. He played in just 29% of the team’s offensive snaps during the Thanksgiving Day loss to the Minnesota Vikings thanks to the injury, but still managed to haul in three receptions for 62 yards. Meyers currently leads all Patriots receivers with receptions (47), yards (571), and touchdowns (3).

It’s much more of a fight to get targets for Gabriel Davis given the star power on the Bills’ offense. Davis was coming off his most productive two weeks of the season in Week 11 and 12, combining for 11 receptions and 161 yards. But in the Thanksgiving Day game against the Detroit Lions, Davis only had four receptions for 38 yards.

Against a tough defense, Davis comes off as a bit of a hit-or-miss play for Thursday Night Football. Go with Meyers between these two.
