Jameson Williams Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Is Jameson Williams bound to make an immediate impact in his NFL debut on Sunday afternoon? With the Alabama product set to take the field for the Detroit LionsJacksonville Jaguars game, let’s take a look at Williams’ fantasy football & DFS rankings for Week 13.

Jameson Williams Fantasy Football Week 13

Per Stokastic’s weekly fantasy football rankingsJameson Williams doesn’t rank as a fantasy option. And using Stokastic’s player compare tool, Williams projects out at only 5.23 points.

In DFS, it’s still hard to find any value on Williams. Using Stokastic’s expert projections, Williams ($4,700) has a value rating at 1.11, which is pretty low relative to other playmakers listed at a similar pricing.

When returning to practice, one thing about Williams stood out to everyone watching: The speed is still there.

“He’s just got so much speed, man,” quarterback Jared Goff said on last week via Michigan Live. “He’s got so much ability. Any way that we can use him, whenever that time is he comes back, it’ll give us a boost, someway, somehow, however many snaps that ends up being, however many balls he ends up catching. Just having him on the field and having his ability to threaten people vertically and to turn a 5-yard throw into a 60-yard gain, that type of stuff, it’s dangerous.”

Head coach Dan Campbell shared a similar sentiment.

“I know this: He can run,” head coach Dan Campbell said. “He can run. You either got it or you don’t, and he’s got it. So, in that regard, he can help.”

Expect the Lions to ease Williams back into action, making him a long-shot option in any fantasy outlet. But once he gets acclimated with Goff and the Lions offense, look for him and Amon-Ra St. Brown to ascend into a dangerous 1-2 punch for years to come in Detroit.
