CeeDee Lamb vs. Michael Pittman Jr.: Which Receiver Has More Fantasy Football, DFS Value in SNF?

Will Michael Pittman Jr. and CeeDee Lamb shine on Sunday Night Football? With the Sunday NFL slate ending with a matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Indianapolis Colts, let’s take a look at the Michael Pittman-CeeDee Lamb fantasy football and DFS rankings.

CeeDee LambMichael Pittman Jr. Fantasy Football & DFS Rankings

Per the Stokastic weekly receiver rankings, CeeDee Lamb (No. 6) is ranked ahead of Michael Pittman Jr. (No. 19). And using the player compare tool, Lamb projects at 17.14 points, with Pittman at 13.35.

In DFS, the comparison between Pittman and Lamb might be a little tighter, given that Lamb ($7,300) is priced significantly higher than Pittman ($6,100). However, the expert projections still have Lamb listed as a slightly more valuable play for the prime time slate.

While the Cowboys have made their pursuit of free agent receiver Odell Beckham Jr. very public (with several members of the team lobbying for the receiver to come aboard for the stretch run), Lamb remains Dak Prescott‘s most reliable option, for now. Lamb has continued to ascend into one of the best receivers in the NFL and had the seventh-most fantasy football points entering Week 13. Lamb has at least five receptions in each of the past four games, including a 106-yard performance against the New York Giants on Thanksgiving Day.

Pittman certainly has the talent to be a great receiver, but he’s been hindered by the lack of offensive productivity in Indianapolis, and despite playing in every game this season, has only two touchdown catches. Pittman has over 50 yards receiving in each of the Colts’ last three wins, including seven receptions for 61 yards and one touchdown in last week’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. But this week he’ll face the tall task of going up against a Cowboys defense that allows the sixth-fewest passing yards in the NFL.

Pittman and Lamb should be featured Sunday, but expect CeeDee Lamb to have a little more success.
