NFL Week 6 Betting Odds & Trends: Public Bettors Fading Rams & Loading Up On Vikings vs. Dolphins

With NFL Week 6 upon us, we’re starting to see which teams are emerging as contenders to win a Super Bowl, and bettors are getting more confident in the product they’re going to see on the field.

Thus far, the reigning Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams have struggled mightily to get their offense going, losing a low-scoring battle against Cooper Rush and the Dallas Cowboys last week.

With their season trending in the wrong direction, people are starting to fade the 2021 juggernaut, even with them playing the lowly Carolina Panthers in Week 6.

Per BetMGM:

NFL Week 6 Most Bet Games

  • 49ers-Falcons
  • Vikings-Dolphins
  • Panthers Rams

NFL Week 6 Most Bet Teams (Tickets)

  • Panthers +10
  • Dolphins +3
  • Vikings -3

Despite coming into the season as a favorite to repeat as Super Bowl champions, the Rams find themselves in need of a spark at 2-3 on the season. Still, head coach Sean McVay doesn’t think we’ve seen the real version of the Rams just yet.

“The one thing I think is important for our players to contextualize is that let’s not allow six hours of football to change the whole sense of who we are, what we’ve become,” McVay said to ESPN. “If you’re not careful, you can let the outside narrative dictate that.”

The Panthers are clearly going through their own problems after firing head coach Matt Rhule and losing quarterback Baker Mayfield to injury following a blowout loss to the 49ers in week 5.

Even with PJ Walker set to make his third career start for Carolina, 71% of bets and 81% of money is currently coming in on them to cover +10 against the Rams. Fade the public if you wish, but our Shop Bets tool finds some value with this angle found here.
