Rams vs. 49ers Anytime Touchdown Prop Bet: Jeff Wilson Jr. a Beneficiary of 49ers Run-Heavy Script (October 3)

Jeff Wilson Jr. being overdue for a touchdown this season is an understatement. He has a total of 39 carries, eight of them coming in the red zone, and is averaging a significant 4.6 yards per carry, yet he has zero touchdowns in this run-heavy offense. Look for this to change tonight in prime time.

Jeff Wilson Jr. Anytime Touchdown (+120, DraftKings)

This Rams defense on paper appears to be good at stopping the run, which creates an opportunity to get a Wilson anytime touchdown at an excellent price of +120 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

On the 49ers defensive front, Justin Hollins ranks 79th of 92 gradable defensive ends in run defense. On the other side of the line will be Leonard Floyd, who is 68th. Moving to the inside, Greg Gaines is 75th at stopping the run out of 121 gradable interior linemen.

Jimmy Garoppolo had a forgettable game last week against the Denver Broncos and has proven once again that he is not an efficient starting quarterback. With the loss of left tackle Trent Williams, Garoppolo’s blind side will be vulnerable. The 49ers will have do everything in their power to protect him and his potential turnovers if they want to win this game. That includes running the ball with Wilson a lot more.

Bet on this 49ers offense, which is already focused on the run, to be even more run heavy, protecting Garoppolo and aiding Wilson.
