Steelers vs. Colts Betting Odds and Trends: Bettors All Over Jonathan Taylor For MNF

The Monday Night Football game between the Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers carries little intrigue if you’re not a fan of those respective teams. But for the betting community, we’re most definitely looking for some opportunities for profit in the last game of the Week 12 slate, including a Jonathan Taylor touchdown prop.

Currently, the Colts sit as a slight favorite at -2.5, but check out the latest odds & trends for Monday Night Football.

Steelers vs. Colts MNF Odds & Trends

Per DraftKings:

  • Spread: Steelers +2.5 (-105), Colts +2.5 (-115)
  • Moneyline: Steelers +120, Colts -140
  • Total: Over 39.5 (-110), Under 39.5 (-110)

Per BetMGM‘s John Ewing, just 46% of bets and 43% of money is on the Colts to cover the spread. 68% of bets and 67% of money is on the Steelers on the money line at +120, and 57% of bets and 70% of money is on the over. But even with bettors leaning towards Pittsburgh as a road underdog, there’s still heavy action on star running back Jonathan Taylor.

According to the report, the top three bets are on Jonathan Taylor to score first touchdown (+400), Taylor anytime touchdown (-160) and Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth over 44.5 receiving yards (-110).

Since the Colts made the surprising decision to hire Jeff Saturday as interim head coach, Indy has gone 2-0 against the spread, and nearly pulled off the upset over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11 before losing 17-16. In those two games, Jonathan Taylor has been unlocked, as well. After a slow start to the season, Taylor has seemingly re-gained his 2021-22 form, with 22 carries in each of the past two games, a combined 241 yards and two touchdowns.

For Pittsburgh, Freiermuth has turned into one of the more reliable options for first-year quarterback Kenny Pickett. In the 37-30 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, Friermuth had eight receptions for 79 yards and has gone over the 44.5 yard mark in three of his last four games.

If the trends continue, Pat Friermuth and Jonathan Taylor will be seeing plenty of action on Monday night.
