The 2022 WNBA playoffs are set to begin today (Aug. 17). With the regular season wrapped up and the playoff bracket set, it’s a great time to look at a few of the teams that seem to have the potential to win it all this year — and what the current betting odds are sitting at. WNBA Finals Pick: Las Vegas Aces (+150)
The first Finals bet that stands out is Las Vegas at +150. The Aces are currently the favorite across most (if not all) sportsbooks to win the whole thing this year, and for good reason. They have the most talented roster in the entire league, particularly on the offensive end of the floor. A’ja Wilson and Kelsey Plum are arguably the best one-two punch in the WNBA, as they averaged 40 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists combined per game this season. Another benefit for Las Vegas is that it starts its playoff run with a first-round matchup against a shaky Phoenix Mercury team in what should be a one-sided series.
WNBA Finals Pick: Connecticut Sun (+400)
A case can be made that the Connecticut Sun (+400) are the league’s toughest team, which makes these odds very intriguing. With forwards like Jonquel Jones, Alyssa Thomas and Brionna Jones, it’s unsure that any team has a physical presence like Connecticut. They have great confidence in their role players, as this team saw nine players average 26-plus minutes per game during the regular season. The Sun ranked third in the league in scoring, averaging 86 points per game. They allowed just 78 points per game, which ranked second among all teams, and they were the best rebounding team in the WNBA this season. Connecticut has the fourth-best odds to win it all, but they can easily be argued as a top-two team.

WNBA Finals Pick: Seattle Storm (+500)
The third and final bet to check out will involves the Seattle Storm, who have the fourth-best odds (+500) to bring home the championship trophy. They boast arguably the league’s best player in Breanna Stewart, and they have surrounded her with an excellent supporting cast. Sue Bird, Jewell Loyd and Tina Charles have provided Stewart with a great cushion on any nights that she isn’t dominating the game. In other words, this team has discovered multiple ways to win. They’re a top-three defensive team and the offense has only improved since adding Charles midway through the season. At +500, this Storm bet provides some great upside — especially considering they have a top-two player on their roster
