What is OddsShopper?
OddsShopper is a suite of sports betting tools that can help you make profitable bets in the long run. I have signed up for a few sportsbooks and now have these bonus bets and credits. How do I maximize those to start with a larger bankroll?

How does OddsShopper find the highest value bets for me to play?
OddsShopper calculates expected value across thousands of bets by using odds from the sharpest sportsbooks in the world to produce true odds. We then compare the true odds to our supported sportsbook’s odds to identify the best +EV bets for you to play.
What is EV Betting and what’s the best way to bet?
+EV betting is a strategy that has historically led to positive returns in the long run. EV stands for Expected Value and is defined as the difference between the true odds of something happening and the sportsbook’s posted odds. EV betting is about exploiting the lines and information sportsbooks are giving us to gain an advantage over the implied probabilities of bets. For a bet to be +EV, it means that the probability of cashing on the bet is higher than it is priced at the book where you are placing the wager. Conversely, if your wager’s shot at hitting is less than what you need to breakeven, then it’s a -EV play. Bankroll management is also an important concept in EV betting. We offer a bankroll field for you to enter the amount you want to spend and a Bet Size column to tell you exactly what dollar amount to bet. I’m not finding success yet, am I doing something wrong?
It’s important to remember that EV betting is a long-term strategy, and there will be ups and downs along the way. However, if you stick to the strategy and use the tools and content offered by OddsShopper, you should see positive returns in the long run.
How do I incorporate Bankroll Management into my process?
OddsShopper includes a Bankroll field for you to input how much money you would like to spend on any given day. Once you have that value set, the Bet Size column on the table shows you exactly how much to place on each bet to maximize your bankroll. We calculate the bet size based on a fractional Kelly Criterion approach that leads to a reasonable balance of minimizing risk while maximizing potential reward. The rough steps:
Step 1: Decide on the amount you would like to bet and enter in the Bankroll field
Step 2: Determine the bets you would like to take
Step 3: Use the Bet Size column to place the perfect amount on each bet
How can I shop different sportsbook lines and odds?
Using our expandable bet row feature will quickly allow you to see additional sportsbook’s that have that bet and their lines available on both mobile and desktop tables.

Betting Beginner’s Guide – Betting 101
Player Props
Player Props are bets where you can choose whether a specific player will achieve a set number of statistics. For example, you can bet on LeBron James to score over or under 28.5 points.
Game Props
Game Props are bets that have to do with the game or a portion of the game. Betting on the Chicago Cubs to score a run in the first inning or the Dallas Cowboys to score first are great examples of game prop bets.
Game Lines
Game Lines are bets that are related to the outcome of a game. For example, a moneyline bet is one where you can bet on which team to win a particular game.
Player Futures
Player Futures are bets that are for season-long player awards or season-long player accomplishments. Bets such as the league MVP or which player will lead the NBA in scoring fall into this category.
Team Futures
Team Futures are bets that relate to a team’s season-long performance. Bets such as Championship Winner or the amount of team wins in a season fall into this category.
Parlays
A parlay is a singular wager in which two or more bets are tied together to effectively produce a larger potential payout. All of the included bets must hit for the parlay wager to be graded as a winner.
Odds Boosts
Odds Boosts are offered to customers of sportsbooks when certain bets have increased odds. Another example is when a sportsbook packages up a few bets together and give boosted odds for that parlay. Sportsbooks may also offer boosted odds on your own created parlays.
