Best NBA Player Props: Books Underrating Domantas Sabonis Assist Props

The NBA is loading up for Christmas Day. With 14 games on tap tonight, only two teams — the Golden State Warriors and Utah Jazz — will get a night off. With so much action to follow, even the sharpest bettors can let the best NBA player props slip through the cracks — including one Domantas Sabonis assist prop.

Enter Stokastic’s new NBA Bet Pro. Instead of manually sifting through each game to find value, bettors can now sort every prop market by expected ROI. NBA Bet Pro pulls lines from every major sportsbook to help you find the best deal available for that given play. If you’re not convinced, see how much money you make after a free three-day trial of the product.

Stokastic’s NBA Bet Pro model is all over these three NBA player props for Friday.

C.J. McCollum Prop O/U 25.5 Points

The bet with the highest projected return on investment tonight is a C.J. McCollum under, according to NBA Bet Pro. Although the Pelicans won’t have Brandon Ingram and possibly Zion Williamson, the books have set McCollum’s total a bit too high. McCollum is averaging only 19.4 points per game this year and owns a career average of 19.2.

NBA Bet Pro projects McCollum for 19.8 points tonight, slightly above his season average but not dramatically enough to warrant a line this high. Further, he just played 37 minutes last night, and the Pelicans could opt to limit the 31-year-old’s usage tonight. Four other bets for the Pelicans-Thunder matchup have EV above 5%, and bettors can view them with a free three-day trial of NBA Bet Pro.

Domantas Sabonis Prop O/U 6.5 Assists

The Sacramento Kings will face the Washington Wizards tonight. The Wizards just suffered a tough road loss to the Utah Jazz yesterday without star center Kristaps Porzingis. Stokastic’s NBA Bet Pro model is jumping on one King to impress against the tired Wizards: Domantas Sabonis.

Sabonis has averaged 6.6 assists per game this year. That number ticks up to 7.1 for just his December games, and the star big man has gone over this total in his last four outings. NBA Bet Pro expects him to dish out 8.6 assists, which gives this prop an expected win rate of 62% — better than the 54.6% chance implied by BetMGM’s odds. Bettors should head to BetMGM to get the best value on the market — and to secure a $25 free bet with first-bet insurance of up to $1,000.

Spencer Dinwiddie Prop O/U 2.5 Made 3’s

The Dallas Mavericks have struggled this year, but their matchup against the Houston Rockets is a great get-right spot. The Rockets are likely headed for another lottery selection barring substantial development from Jalen Green or Jabari Smith. However, NBA Bet Pro isn’t projecting Dinwiddie for a strong game from beyond the arc.

Dinwiddie has averaged 2.7 made 3’s per game this year and 2.8 in December. However, that production has come on relatively little volume. Dinwiddie has made 46.3% of his triples this month, a considerable uptick from his career average of just 33.3%. With NBA Bet Pro projecting Dinwiddie for only 2 triples tonight, the under has a projected win rate of 53%, far better than the implied odds of 45% available at FanDuel’s. Bettors should head there for the best deal on the market before the line moves.
