WNBA Best Bets & Player Props Today: Slam Some Caitlin Clark Unders (June 10)

We ended last week with a bang! We smashed Friday’s slate, hitting six of my seven best bets, bringing us to a so-back 42-31 on the season. Combined with my previous article, we’re now 10-2 over our last two helpings of WNBA bets. We’ve had the whole weekend off to celebrate, though I hope you’ve continued to tail me over on my Twitter account (@dblfluidity). We have one WNBA game in our sights today, with the Indiana Fever — fresh off their third win of the season — returning to Uncasville to match up with the Connecticut Sun for the third time this season. Let’s get into the WNBA best bets and player props for Monday, June 10.

Indiana Fever-Connecticut Sun Bet

The Sun obliterated the Fever in their first matchup in Connecticut, welcoming Caitlin Clark to the league with a 92-71 blowout. The Sun took the second game in Indiana as well, but Indiana fared a lot better at home, losing by just 4 thanks to a double-double from Temi Fagbenle off the bench.

With Fagbenle currently injured, the Fever have some serious depth issues behind Aliyah Boston and NaLyssa Smith. The Sun are not a team against whom you can afford to be thin up front, with DeWanna Bonner, Alyssa Thomas and Brionna Jones forming one of the most fearsome frontcourt trios in the league.

With the Sun at home and Indiana missing Fagbenle, I like this matchup to look like it did last time these teams faced off in Connecticut, where the Sun won by double digits. I especially like this spot with the Fever coming off a win and the Sun coming off their first loss, a fantastic bounce-back/letdown combo.

The spread has moved a bit, however, so I’m going to pivot away from there to the Fever’s team total under at 74.5. I love this angle; the Sun have the league’s best defensive rating (89.7) and are the slowest team by pace in the WNBA (77.53 possessions per 40). The Sun are holding their opponents 17.86 points below their average points per game over their last five games, and the Fever team total is just a few points below their season average.

Best WNBA Bet: Indiana Fever Team Total Under 74.5 (Caesars)

Another correlated angle I love for this game is Clark unders across the board, but especially the combo under in points + rebounds + assists. As I said before, the Sun defense is the best in the league, and it has done a great job holding down Clark in their previous two matchups. Clark’s PRA is set at 30.5 at FanDuel, she has yet to clear 25 PRA against the Sun.

Best WNBA Player Prop: Caitlin Clark Under 30.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (FanDuel)
