Step 1: Open the Portfolio Lab
- Head to the Portfolio Lab.
- Select NBA as your sport.
- Leave every other setting as is:
- All sportsbooks
- All bet types
- All OS Ratings
- All start times
- All EV ages
Click “View Markets.”
Step 2: Set to Current Season
Under Filters, change the “Season” setting from Previous Season to Current Season.
Now when you view markets, the Portfolio Lab will automatically remove all the -EV bets. That means what you’re seeing are bets with a long-term positive expected value.

Step 3: Refine for Higher ROI
Click the Settings button at the top of the Portfolio Lab.
Adjust the sliders as follows:
- Minimum OS Rating: 2
- Maximum Time to Event Start: 8 Hours
- Minimum EV Age: 5 Minutes
What these settings do:
- OS Rating of 2+ filters out lower-quality bets.
- 8-hour event window keeps your portfolio focused on upcoming action.
- 5-minute EV age eliminates fleeting “phantom edges” that disappear quickly as projections adjust.
Now click “View Markets” again.
At this point, you’ll likely notice:
- Some books like FanDuel may now be showing -EV.
- Your historical ROI (hROI) just jumped by a few percentage points.
- You’re still getting 100+ +EV bets per day — even with tighter filters.

Step 4: Save Your Portfolio
Click “Save Portfolio.” Name it something easy to remember like +EV NBA.
