Pet BetMGM‘s John Ewing, Kyle Busch (+700 to win) tickets are leading the way for the Sunday night NASCAR race. The top three bets to win the Clash are on Kyle Busch (11.1%), Kyle Larson (6.7%) and Joey Logano (6.6%). Busch also leads the way for the highest handle percentage (19.1%), followed by Larson (8.1%) and Logano (7.0%).

This season marks the first for Busch as a member of Richard Childress Racing after Joe Gibbs Racing decided to part ways with him. The fan-favorite will undoubtedly be racing with a chip on his shoulder with a new, invigorated team by his side.

“When Richard and I sat down and we first had discussions of this opportunity, it was easy,” Busch said, per Forbes. “It was a clear-cut choice that this was a place that you could go win races and win championships right out of the gate.

“It just seemed that their overall culture—being around Richard, talking with Austin and having the chance to just look at the whole picture of what’s going on with RCR of late, and I felt like it was a no-brainer.”

Busch finished the 2022 season 13th in the standings (tied for the worst finish in his career). He notched one win, eight top-fives, and 17 top-ten finishes. His career average finish is 13.8, a mark no full-time RCR driver has reached since Ryan Newman in 2015.

Although Kyle Busch enters a lot of unknowns at RCR Racing, it was probably time for a career move given how his last two seasons have gone with Joe Gibbs. In Busch, RCR is getting a polished racer who will bring a championship mindset to the team. Based on the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum betting trends, racing fans are looking to see an uptick in wins from Busch this season, as he’ll look to make a huge statement on Sunday night.
