Best NBA Bets, Expert Picks & Predictions | March 22

Denver Nuggets vs. Washington Wizards

The Wizards played on the back end of a back-to-back on Tuesday and might be without Kyle Kuzma, who is recovering from an ankle sprain. If he sits out, it means that there is almost no injury news waiting to break for this game. In the absence of any significant injury news, the line is very efficient, which makes it hard to find any value. The best bet for this game is a LEAN on Nikola Jokic to triple-double. There is no line out yet, but there is obvious value in hitting them at reduced numbers when a player projects for 20, 13 and 11 every night.

Best NBA Bet: Nikola Jokic Triple-Double (LEAN)

New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat

Miami has played better of late, but the Knicks are the better team, even though they are playing on the road. Jalen Brunson is back to full strength, and the Knicks are projected as the seventh-best team in the league. ESPN Matchup Predictor has this game at 55.7% in favor of the Knicks, so the fact that the Knicks are getting 2 points at FanDuel is surprising. Take the Knicks straight up for anything that has a plus sign in front of it on Wednesday. If the line moves in the other direction, go ahead and ease up.

Indiana Pacers vs. Toronto Raptors

The Raptors are coming off a win, and the Pacers are coming off a loss. Tyrese Haliburton is questionable for the Pacers after missing five straight games, creating a bit of a middle line at -8. If he plays, take the Pacers with the points; if he doesn’t, take the Raptors. Scottie Barnes is also questionable for the Raptors after falling on his wrist, but it’s his off hand, so he could play. As there are no props up for this game yet, lean towards the Pacers and wait for injury news before placing any bets.

Best NBA Bet: Pacers +8 (LEAN)

Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks

The Mavericks are expecting Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving to sit out due to injuries, so the line currently favors the Warriors. However, if either of the two plays, the line could move to neutral or even favor the Mavericks. Put out a prospective LIKE bet on the Warriors -1.5, even though they have a poor 8-29 away record, most of which was without Stephen Curry.
