Best NBA Bets for Thursday | Nets in High-Pace Spot

Mikal Bridges Over 25.5 Points (-120 BetMGM)

Bridges has been on a roll lately, and his recent performance is hard to ignore. Since joining Brooklyn, Bridges has a near 28% usage rate, and in the last month, he has gone over 26 points in eight of his last 12 games. In addition, he has been playing insane minutes, up to 40-plus minutes in competitive games. He will face a Kings team that’s playing their second of a back-to-back on the road, and they already allow the second-most points to opponents on the season at just under 119 per game.

While the Kings have an excellent offense, they have a bottom-5 defensive rating to go along with it. With a 2-point spread and a 238-point total, plus Bridges’ usage and playing time, the over here is a great play. You should also consider over 2.5 3’s at +105 on DraftKings.

Spencer Dinwiddie Over 8.5 Assists (-120 BetMGM)

Dinwiddie has been producing better assist totals lately and getting more assist opportunities. Since the start of March, Dinwiddie is averaging almost 17 potential assists per game, good for sixth most in the league. He is playing massive minutes and is in a great, fast-paced matchup against the Kings. Dinwiddie has a 36% assist rate since coming to Brooklyn, and the Nets have no legitimate playmakers behind him. This line is 9.5 at many shops, but bettors can still get it at 8.5 without a ton of juice (-120).

Killian Hayes Under 13.5 Points (-130 BetMGM)

Hayes should see an immediate dip in usage with Jaden Ivey expected back in the lineup tonight. In the eight games he’s played without Ivey this season, Hayes’ usage is at 24% compared to only 20% in the games with Ivey. The Pistons are 13.5-point dogs at home, and Hayes literally has the worst true shooting percentage of any player averaging at least 20 minutes this season. Take your chances on his usage declining with Ivey back, and also on his poor shooting.

NBA Bet Pro Bet of the Day: O.G. Anunoby Under 2.5 3-Pointers (-132 FanDuel)

Anunoby has been on a hot streak recently, hitting three-plus 3’s in four straight games. However, he’s a 37% 3-point shooter and is shooting 56% from long range over this current stretch. He is only attempting 5.3 3’s per game on the season, and he’s gone under this 2.5 3’s number in 70% of the games he’s played. Take the under on Anunoby’s 2.5 3-pointers at -132 on FanDuel.
