Best Heat-Nuggets NBA Finals Same-Game Parlay for Game 2

The Miami Heat couldn’t keep Game 1 close. They came into this series at a massive rest disadvantage and had to adjust to the elevation relatively quickly. While I don’t know if they’re good enough to win Game 2, especially with Caleb Martin now dealing with an illness, I’m trusting their superstars to leave it all on the floor tonight.

Bam Adebayo 20+ Points

We got on Bam Adebayo for Game 1, and he rewarded us with 26 points. I think he can keep that momentum rolling in Game 2. The Denver Nuggets haven’t cared about stuffing their opponents in the paint all season, and Nikola Jokic isn’t a high-level rim protector. The Nuggets win by beating you with more efficient offensive play, especially on the perimeter, not by stopping interior scorers like Adebayo from getting dunks and layups. Expect another solid scoring night from him in Game 2.

Jimmy Butler 2+ Steals

Butler is yet to go two games without recording at least two steals in the postseason. Every time his opponent held him to one or zero, Butler bounced back with two or more in his next outing. The Nuggets held him to just one steal in Game 1. Although Denver excels at limiting turnovers forced, Butler swiped the ball four times in his lone regular-season road trip to Denver. We know he can pickpocket the Nuggets, so let’s trust him to do so tonight.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope 10+ Points

We got some exposure to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for Game 1, but he let us down by shooting only 1-for-3 from beyond the arc. I think he’ll bounce back in Game 2. KCP hasn’t gone consecutive playoff games without reaching double-figures in the points column this postseason. He also averaged 11.1 points per game at home on an impressive 61.1% true shooting percentage in the regular season. Look for him to bounce back.

Denver Nuggets Moneyline

Let’s wrap up this same-game parlay by taking the Nuggets to win Game 2. Denver’s offense should dominate against a banged-up Miami squad, and even though Adebayo and Butler should give it their all, it’s hard to see Miami escaping Colorado with a win. The Nuggets are undefeated at home this postseason and are 43-7 in Ball Arena this season.
