We’re at a breakeven 4-4 for NBA player props this series but are yet to hit on one of these same-game parlays. We’ve often come close but haven’t had the same success we had earlier in the playoffs. Let’s start with my favorite regression spot. Aaron Gordon is shooting over 66.7% from the field this series with three games of 70% or better. He has shot 71.4% from beyond the arc as well. You could look at this as a product of Miami’s defensive scheme, which it partially is, but don’t forget that Gordon shot 53.9% from the field and 29.1% from beyond the arc in Denver during the regular season.
Bam Adebayo Over 19.5 Points
While I have primarily bought low and sold high during the postseason, the markets are not correctly reacting to the significant increase in the scoring floor for Bam Adebayo. Adebayo has at least 20 points in each game of this series, which stems not from hyper-efficient shooting (Adebayo is 45.6% from the field) but from increased volume near the rim (Adebayo is averaging 19.8 shots and 4.8 free throws per game).
Caleb Martin 10+ Points
We got action on this via the player prop column when FanDuel Sportsbook still had an off-market 9.5 available at -110. They’ve since adjusted, and this prop now owns odds of -150 (60%). That’s a fairer price, but let’s not forget Caleb Martin has reached double figures in 16 of his 22 playoff appearances this year (72.7%). His poor Games 1 and 2 may stem more from exhaustion and less from the hostile environment; Martin’s three best playoff games scoring-wise came on the road. Let’s trust him as our third leg in tonight’s Heat-Nuggets same-game parlay.

I’m not sure if the Miami Heat will force a Game 6, but they probably won’t get blown out. Although Miami is yet to keep a loss to Denver within a single-digit margin, the Heat had suffered just three double-digit losses this postseason before the NBA Finals began.
