Best NBA Props for Monday | Jonas Valanciunas

Jonas Valanciunas Double-Double (-190, FanDuel) or 15+ Points & 12+ Rebounds (+163)

Despite losing some minutes recently due to blowouts, Valanciunas has been a consistent double-double machine. In fact, he has posted double-doubles in each of the Pelicans’ last five games, and the Pelicans are 4-1 in that stretch — in the one loss they fell by just 2 points.

Valanciunas is also an excellent option for those looking to bet on points and rebounds, as he is +163 to reach 15-plus points and 12-plus rebounds. He will be playing against a Trail Blazers team that is expected to be without Jusuf Nurkic, Damian Lillard, Jerami Grant and Anfernee Simons. With this skeleton crew, Valanciunas is well positioned to rack up big numbers.

Mitchell Robinson Under 9.5 Rebounds (-128, FanDuel)

Robinson may not play his full allotment of minutes given the Knicks’ status as a 13.5-point favorite over the Rockets. Additionally, Robinson has gone under 9.5 rebounds in seven of his last 10 games. Furthermore, the Rockets have the league’s highest rebound rate and allow the third-fewest rebounds to opponents. They are also the third-stingiest team allowing rebounds to centers. All of these factors suggest that Robinson is unlikely to reach the over for rebounds.

Domantas Sabonis Over 7.5 Assists (-110, DraftKings)

Although the Timberwolves have an elite rim protector in Rudy Gobert, Sabonis is still poised to make a significant impact in terms of assists. The 240-point total game should result in plenty of opportunities for Sabonis to create plays given his strong touch and assist rankings.

Since the beginning of March, Sabonis ranks third in touches and fifth in potential assists, and he is averaging 37 minutes per game. He has gone over 7.5 assists in eight of his last 11 starts. While scoring may not come as easily against Gobert and Minnesota, the high-paced nature of the game and Sabonis’ strong assist record make him a solid bet to surpass the 7.5 assists mark.
