Best NBA Same Game Parlay For Nuggets-Lakers Game 4: Austin Reaves Beyond Due For Some Regression (May 22)

The Los Angeles Lakers find themselves in need of a win to extend their playoff run. They will have the luxury of home court when trying to fend off a sweep against the Denver Nuggets Monday. L.A. has gotten phenomenal offensive production from sharp-shooter Austin Reaves throughout the playoff run, but there is reason to believe he will take a step back in Game 4. The best NBA same-game parlay for Nuggets-Lakers Game 4 includes fading Reaves. Bettors looking for more sharp plays can check out OddsShopper tools, including the Parlay Builder!

Best Nuggets-Lakers NBA Same Game Parlay For Game 4

The legend of Austin Reaves just continues to grow throughout the postseason, likely driving up his price tag before he becomes a restricted free agent this offseason. Reaves has been one of the few Lakers bright spots during the Nuggets series and continued his scoring touch when pouring in 23 points in the 119-108 loss at Crypto.Com Arena Saturday. But it is fair to expect some regression from Reaves. Although the Lakers should be able to fend off the sweep, one Reaves fade makes its way into our NBA same-game parlay.

Austin Reaves Under 17.5 Points

Reaves averaged a solid 13.0 points during the regular season but has become a different animal in the playoffs. With several of the Lakers’ role players struggling, Revaes has stepped into the spotlight. The second-year pro has averaged 22.7 points during the series but should be due for some regression to the mean in Game 4. The Lakers need a win to keep their run alive and will likely be leaning on their superstar duo of Anthony Davis and LeBron James. Look for Reaves to struggle to maintain his ridiculous shooting numbers over the past three games, making the under a solid leg to add to our NBA parlay.

LeBron James Over 24.5 Points

Who is going to step up if Reaves doesn’t score in bunches? Let’s start with LeBron James. The superstar has been pretty quiet through the first three games of the Nuggets series but is due to break out in a big way with the team’s fate hanging in the balance. James averaged over 28 points during the regular season and has not kept up that pace during the postseason. His scoring numbers did improve throughout the Conference Semis — when he scored 25 and 30 in Games 5 & 6 to send the Golden State Warriors packing. He should look to take matters into his own hands and get back to where he left off during the regular season in Game 4.

D’Angelo Russell 10+ Points

Similarly to how you have to expect some regression for Reaves, one would think it would have to get better for D’Angelo Russell. The point guard is experiencing a dismal Conference Finals and scored just three points on 1-of-8 shooting in the loss on Saturday night. Although Lakers fans are calling for D-Lo to remain on the bench going forward, head coach Darvin Ham expressed confidence in Russell being able to turn it around. As long as Russell logs significant minutes in Game 4, expect him to continue shooting at a high clip. The 10+ points leg stands out as Russell looks to prove he is a much better scorer than what he has shown thus far.

Lakers Moneyline

The Los Angeles Lakers have been great at home throughout the postseason even if they were not able to close against the Nuggets in Game 3. Still, they should be able to fend off elimination on Monday, pushing off the seemingly inevitable for one more day. The Lakers won all six home games in the playoffs before falling on Saturday and should be able to give their fans one last opportunity to celebrate before beginning their critical offseason.
