Kevin Durant Props: Everyone Riding KD’s Over Ahead of Suns-Bulls

The Kevin Durant total points prop is currently sitting at 20.5 (per BetMGM). According to the sportsbook’s data analyst, John Ewing, 100% of the bets are on KD to hit his over on the scoring prop. OddsShopper’s new premium tools give Durant a 55% chance of cashing in on his over, but with a negative ROI showing there is not much value in placing the wager.

Durant’s points total was set at 20.5 for his debut against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night, and he was able to deliver with a 23-point performance, shooting 10-15 from the field and 2-4 from 3-point range.

“Once I moved and settled down in Phoenix, things settled down,” Durant told Yahoo Sports. “But it wasn’t gonna settle down until I played. I need a week or so … mentally, I was on one team and now so quickly I’m on another team. I’ve never been through that before. I’m just trying to wrap my mind around all this.”

Durant is averaging 29.5 points per game but has a minutes restriction of 25 as the Suns look to ease their best asset into action after he was forced to sit out for nearly two months due to an MCL sprain. In his debut, Durant gave Suns fans a glimpse at how great their offense can be with him in the fold.

“It’s just pretty cool to be able to give the guy the ball and he could get to his spot and get a really good shot,” coach Money Williams said, per NBC News. “I thought the team fed off of him just being himself tonight. I told him, I’m not looking for you to lead. We just want you to be yourself and hoop.”

The latest Kevin Durant prop betting shows that the excitement surrounding the star forward’s insertion into the Suns’ lineup is only just beginning.
