Gradey Dick NBA Draft Odds: Where Will Young Prospect Get Picked

DraftKings Sportsbook has released lines on which players will be selected with the top picks in the draft. As it stands, Victor Wembaya (-20000) is the heavy favorite to be the first player selected in the draft. Gradey Dick‘s odds (+2500) have him near the middle of the pack. Dick is currently +1500 to be the second pick and +1000 to go third.

Dick was a big reason for Kansas’ success throughout the season, getting better and better as the year progressed. But after earning a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, Kansas was upset by Arkansas in the Round of 31. Still, Dick believed he showed enough to prove he’ll be a successful NBA player.

He was named second-team All-Big 12 after averaging 14.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game this season while shooting 40% from 3-point range.

“I feel that NBA teams have learned more about my competitiveness from this season,” Dick said, per ESPN. “My goal has always been to try and outcompete everyone in anything that I do. I also wanted to show my resilience. No matter what happens, how I play, I’m always going to come back levelheaded and ready to go. I often get labeled as a shooter, but I love to show the versatility that I have to my game.”

Dick currently ranks 11th on ESPN’s NBA draft projections and the latest Gradey Dick NBA Draft odds suggest that he will likely get selected near the middle of the first round. He has shown plenty of potential for Kansas this season and is only going to continue to improve no matter where he is selected.

The Jayhawks now have a big void to fill as they start their offseason.
