Skunked. We took a double beat last night. If you’re in our OddsShopper Discord, you got my seven props for Thursday, and went 5-2. But, OF COURSE the two we lost were the two we used for this article. Unreal luck. Now it’s time for our top NBA parlay picks for today, Friday, March 8, including an NBA player prop pick for Paolo Banchero. Need more action? NBA Parlay Picks Today: Best Bet for Friday

Paolo Banchero o21.5 Points (NBA Player Prop)

We’re going back to our cash cow after an 0-2 night.

Leg 1 of our NBA parlay today is Paolo Banchero over 21.5 points.

The Magic star has cashed the over on this number in four straight games, and is averaging 24 points per game over his last 10.

Taking a look at his two matchups against the New York Knicks this season:

  • 20 points (9-for-19 shooting)
  • 36 points (15-for-20 shooting)

Now, do we expect Paolo to shoot 75% from the floor tonight against the Knicks? No. That’s incredibly unreasonable. Would we hate it? ABSOLUTELY NOT! But, we can’t expect that kind of efficiency.

This should be a pretty competitive spot here against the Knicks with the spread sitting at 1.5 in favor of the Magic.

Paolo has actually been a better scorer on the road this season, averaging almost a full 2 points more than (23.7) than he does at home (22).

Over the last 15 games, the Knicks have allowed opposing power forwards to score nearly 27 points per game, and it’s been on 57% shooting.

That type of shooting percentage shows a lack of rim protection, and with the Magic being the No. 1 team in shots frequency at the rim, it all sets up for a Paolo over.

Jaren Jackson o26.5 Points (NBA Player Prop)

I won’t lie, this doesn’t feel good. I mean, betting any kind of money on Jaren Jackson Jr. just never feels good at all.

But, this is more of a pure volume play than a play on efficiency.

Jackson is basically the only show in town for the Memphis Grizzlies, and he’s been getting to chuck whenever he wants.

That shouldn’t really change tonight against the Atlanta Hawks.

In games where Jackson has shot 18 or more times, he’s cashed the over on this 26.5 points line in EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.

In February, Jackson’s field goal attempts went up to 20 per game. So, like I said, the fella is straight chuckin’ the basketball.

The Hawks are giving up right at 25 points per game to opposing power forwards and 22.5 to centers … take your pick on which you think Jackson is. It doesn’t really matter.

Production is most often a direct result of opportunity and volume, and Jackson has both in a matchup against a team that doesn’t fancy itself a defensive unit.

It’s scary, but we’re trusting the process.
