NBA Parlay Picks Today: Can Jalen Brunson’s Heater Continue? (March 21)

I went to bed shortly before halftime of Grizzlies-Warriors. Hey, don’t judge your boy. Yesterday was HIIT cardio finisher day at the gym after a heavy lift … I was tired. I went to bed so happy, thinking my Jaren Jackson Jr.under PRA bet was sitting pretty, only to wake up seeing he went absolutely nuclear in the second half in a game that wasn’t even close. So, not only am I a bit poorer this morning, I’m a hell of a lot sorer. A true double whammy. But, we love pain, so bring on more with the NBA parlay picks for today, Thursday, March 21st, including an NBA player prop pick for Jalen Brunson. Need more action? NBA Parlay Picks Today: +273 Bet for Thursday

Jalen Brunson o28.5 Points (NBA Player Prop)

Whenever I’m feeling down, I like to go to guys I know are going to have the ball A LOT and basically dictate how every possession will play out. Thus, for Leg 1 of our NBA parlay today, we’re going with Jalen Brunson OVER 28.5 points.

And, yes, that’s a lot of points.

But, the fella is playing a lot of minutes, and he’s getting an absolute metric sh*t ton of usage.

Brunson is seeing usage rates in the mid-30s, and recently has games with usage rates as high as 44.3% and 48.7%.

Obviously, the Knicks are without Julius Randle, but they’re going to be without OG Anunoby again tonight in this matchup against the Nuggets.

Brunson has the green light on every possession, and it shows with the recent shot volume increase he’s seen — 83 chucks in three games … that’s impressive.

If we’re getting another outing of 20-25 shots from Brunson, I’m willing to take a shot on a guy who has proven he can score with the best of ’em.

Kyle Kuzma o22.5 Points (NBA Player Prop)

Speaking of volume, any time you fire up a Kyle Kuzma over, it’s definitely not an efficiency play, it’s a volume play.

If there’s one thing we know about Kuzma, it’s that he’s definitely not afraid to get his jacks up.

This is a guy who was getting 20 shots a game before only taking 10 each of the last two before he sat out last game against the Rockets. You think he’s not itching to get back out and throw 20 shots at the rim?

All jokes aside, Kuzma is sporting a 30% usage rate for the entire season. Now, Tyus Jones is out and Deni Avdija is questionable tonight against the Kings, who are on the second of a back-to-back.

We’re looking at a 236.5 projected total for this game, so points are to be expected, and we know the Kings are more than capable of letting a team like the Wiz hang around long than they should.

With the ball in Kuzma’s hands more, he’ll likely get back to the 20-22 shots we’d love to see. And if he’s taking 20-22 shots, I’m betting the over on 22.5 points every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
