One of Ben’s best bets today is an apparent late add to the schedule, with potential powerhouse New Mexico taking on high-flying Oral Roberts.

“[Oral Roberts’] defense is weak, their offense is good. They’re gonna be able to score on anybody, but against better teams and better competition, I really wonder what they’re really going to be able to do. And New Mexico is just that — they’re a good team. Now, they were the last undefeated team in the country; that’s probably more product of schedule than anything else. And now they’ve lost two straight, but the losses at home are few and far between [at home].
“They’re very comfortable playing fast, aggressive. I think the biggest difference, though, they play better defense than Oral Roberts.”
This is going to be a high-scoring matchup, but Ben likes the Lobos to get back in the win column at home and to cover the spread.
