College Basketball Betting Picks & Odds | Feb. 27

College Basketball Odds: Baylor (-1.5) vs. Oklahoma State

Baylor defeated Oklahoma State 74-58 at home in the first matchup between these teams. Since that game, Oklahoma State has been all over the board, winning seven of its last 12 games. However, the Cowboys have dropped each of the last four. Baylor will play this game without Keyonte George, but the Bears still look like a value worth targeting.

First of all, the line hasn’t moved whatsoever since the team ruled out George. EvanMiya shows little drop-off moving from George to Langston Love in the lineup. Conversely, EvanMiya also points out Oklahoma State’s failure to get its best players on the floor. Moussa Cisse has by far the highest Bayesian Performance Rating, but he has not played more than 21 minutes in any of the last three games. With Baylor’s elite shooting behind L.J. Cryer and Adam Flagler, Oklahoma State simply does not have the players to hang with this team.

College Basketball Odds: Idaho State vs. Northern Colorado (-4.5)

This is another rematch, with Idaho State beating Northern Colorado 90-83 in overtime on its home court in the first game. That said, ShotQuality pegged this game as an analytical win for Northern Colorado. Now returning home and due for positive regression, Northern Colorado looks like a value against the spread.

Northern Colorado is one of the better shooting teams in this conference. The Bears rank 49th in 3-point percentage and shoot them at a top-100 clip. Meanwhile, Idaho State ranks outside the top 200 in both offensive and defensive efficiency. The Bengals also rank 320th in rebounding, leaving little for them to exploit against Northern Colorado on the road.

College Basketball Odds: Florida Gulf Coast (+3) vs. Queens

The ASUN Conference tournament tips off with a solid game between Florida Gulf Coast and Queens. Queens defeated Florida Gulf Coast 84-82 at home in the first game between these teams, and Florida Gulf Coast will look for revenge as the underdog on a neutral court.

Florida Gulf Coast presents a unique challenge for Queens. Queens presses a ton, but Gulf Coast does an awesome job taking care of the ball. It ranks top 62 in turnovers committed and averaged 1.2 points per possession in the first matchup. Gulf Coast also has a massive height advantage over Queens, who ranks 348th in effective height. In its first matchup, Andre Weir scored 22 points in just 23 minutes before fouling out. With a clear size advantage as well, Gulf Coast has the ability to pull off the first-round upset here.

College Basketball Expert Betting Pick: Florida Gulf Coast +3
