Bengals-Bills Anytime Touchdown Bet: Will Tee Higgins Cross the Goal Line?

The Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals will meet in the Divisional Round on Sunday afternoon. When these teams met back in December, only Tyler Boyd had scored a touchdown before the game’s cancellation. That said, it’s Tee Higgins who makes for the best anytime touchdown scorer bet in the Bengals-Bills rematch with odds of +200 at FanDuel Sportsbook. Anytime Touchdown Bet: Tee Higgins (+200)

The Cincinnati Bengals have a prototypical option at every receiver spot. At 6-foot-4 and 216 pounds, Tee Higgins has the large frame necessary to succeed in the NFL as an X receiver — especially in the red zone. Ja’Marr Chase has the combination of speed and agility to burn opposing teams as a Z receiver, and Tyler Boyd has the savvy to make plays as a Y receiver.

Higgins will benefit from facing a Buffalo secondary that lacks size at cornerback. The team’s biggest cornerback, rookie Kaiir Elam, stands 6-foot-1 and weighs 191 pounds. He rotates on the boundary with 5-foot-11, 180-pound Dane Jackson. Buffalo’s other two cornerbacks, boundary cornerback Tre’Davious White and slot cornerback Taron Johnson, both also stand 5-foot-11 and weigh less than 200 pounds. In Sunday’s Bengals-Bills contest, Higgins will cause headaches for Bills’ defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier.

Buffalo’s defense has played exceptionally well this year but has allowed the fourth-most receiving touchdowns per game to wide receivers (1.13). Big-bodied boundary receivers have accounted for plenty of points. New England’s DeVante Parker caught six passes for 79 yards and two touchdowns in Week 18. Detroit’s D.J. Chark Jr., who stands 6-foot-3, scored once in Week 12. Cleveland’s Amari Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones, who both stand at taller than six feet, combined for three scores in Week 11.

The Bills have faced a plethora of teams with quarterback problems or without an X receiver as big as Higgins. That has kept their undersized cornerback room from becoming a more obvious problem. But if the weather can cooperate, Higgins should find the end zone on Sunday. Pinnacle, a sharp sportsbook, has his anytime touchdown scorer line at just +170. Bettors should head to FanDuel to buy the +200 before the book shifts to a more on-market price. Bettors who are new to FanDuel can even secure $150 in bonus bets with a $5 wager!
