Biggest Super Bowl Bets: Bettors Going Big on Eagles Moneyline

The biggest Super Bowl bets have been flying in throughout the course of the week, with the Philadelphia Eagles getting most of the betting attention over the Kansas City Chiefs. Now, the Super Bowl is just three days away, and while a lot of the biggest bets haven’t come in yet, some jaw-dropping wagers paint a picture of what the sportsbooks are going to need come Sunday.

Biggest Super Bowl Bets: Eagles Moneyline a Popular Play

Per VSIN’s Ben Fawkes, the top five biggest bets are as followed, $1.25 million on Eagles ML (-125), $1 million on Eagles ML (-125), $500,000 on Chiefs ML (+105), $314,000 on Chiefs alternate spread +3.5 (-157) and $270,000 on OVER 50.5.

According to the latest update from BetMGM, 67% of bets, and 68% of the money is on the Eagles spread (-1.5), with 58% of bets but just 45% of money on the Chiefs moneyline.

“The Chiefs winning the Super Bowl is what BetMGM needs. The worst scenario is Travis Kelce scoring the first touchdown and the Eagles winning 37-34. We’d lose sleep over that result,” said Seamus Magee, Sports Trader at BetMGM.

The Eagles have rolled through their first two postseason games, defeating the San Francisco 49ers 31-7 in the NFC Championship game after dominating the New York Giants in the Divisional Round. But they know it’s not going to be that easy this Sunday when going up against the Chiefs juggernaut.

“Obviously, they’ve been really good for a long time, great organization,” head coach Nick Sirianni said, per the team’s website. “Coach Reid is a great coach, and (Kansas City quarterback) Patrick Mahomes is one of the best players in the world, (Kansas City tight end) Travis Kelce, (Kansas City defensive tackle) Chris Jones. They have good players everywhere, and really good coaching.

“We’re just in our early stages of studying them, having a couple weeks here. Yesterday (Monday) was more of a review of the game day and doing some of the logistics things and then with everything, but then today, we’re in our early stages of studying the Chiefs, and that’s where we are right now. But really good team, obviously, as you would expect, as they’re in the Super Bowl.”

Based on the biggest Super Bowl bets, most of America will be rooting for the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII. But regardless of the outcome, it should be a highly entertaining game. Be sure to check OddsShopper tools to get the best value on Super Bowl LVII.
