Dolphins Super Bowl Odds Rise After Landing Jalen Ramsey

While the Dolphins Super Bowl odds stayed the same at some sportsbooks, Bet365 raised their odds from 33-1 to 28-1 to win the championship after acquiring Jalen Ramsey.

The Dolphins stay aggressive after landing Tyreek Hill last offseason. In Ramsey, the Dolphins are getting a proven corner who they can put on some of the top receivers in the AFC East. Miami now has a deadly cornerback duo of Ramsey and Xavien Howard.

Ramsey tweeted his excitement about the deal shortly after it was reported.

“I prayed for this specifically for about a month & now it’s happening! @MiamiDolphins LETSGO!” he said before adding, “Before I continue on, I wanna say I love you & thank you LA Rams & LA Rams fans! I truthfully have so much more to say but maybe another time. Need y’all to kno those two things tho.”

Pro Football Focus rated Ramsey as the third-highest cornerback in the NFL last season. He finished with four interceptions, 18 passes defended, 12 pass break ups, three forced fumbles and two sacks. The four interceptions tied a career-high.

The Dolphins had a need at cornerback after they informed Byron Jones he would be released when the new league year begins next week. Not only will they now be getting an upgrade, but they have one of the top lockdown corners in the history of the game at their disposal.

The Dolphins still have to go through the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots and New York Jets (who are believed to be close to landing Aaron Rodgers) in the AFC East. The Dolphins were hurt by injuries to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa throughout last season. They were forced to use third-string quarterback Skylar Thompson when they lost to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round. Miami will hope Tagovailoa recovers from his head injuries and is able to stay on the field consistently next season.

The addition of Jalen Ramsey means Miami has some of the best star power in the NFL to compete with next season. Based on the latest Dolphins Super Bowl odds, they are definitely a team to watch next season.
