The season has been somewhat underwhelming for the Indianapolis Colts starting running back, who has surpassed 60 rushing yards in just one of his last four games. However, on the year, he’s averaging a solid 18 carries for 79 yards per game at an efficient 4.4 yards per carry.
Today’s matchup offers a great opportunity for a breakout performance. The New England Patriots rank 17th in both defensive rush EPA and success rate allowed. With the Colts leaning more on the ground game recently, it’s reasonable to expect that trend to continue against a middling run defense.

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has faced his share of criticism this season.
Despite a 7-5 record and sitting atop the AFC South, the Texans’ momentum has been dampened by a disastrous loss to the struggling Tennessee Titans last week. The sentiment around Stroud and the team has been far from celebratory.
Stroud will face a Jaguars pass defense that ranks dead last in dropback EPA, success rate, and passing touchdowns allowed per game (2.1). It’s a prime spot for Stroud to silence the doubters and get back on track.
Stokastic’s NFL DFS projections have Stroud listed with 1.7 passing touchdowns. While he’s thrown two or more touchdowns in just four games this season, today’s matchup should be a perfect opportunity to add to that tally.
