Dallas CowboysLos Angeles Chargers (50.5 Game Total)

In hopes to inspire some offense in just one primetime game this season, I’m happy to report my best bet from Cowboys and Chargers on Monday Night is an over. With the Chargers coming off a bye — and the Cowboys coming off an embarrassment in San Francisco last Sunday night — I expect both offenses to produce. And given that Austin Ekeler is slated to return, there is no lack of outstanding skill position players we could back in the prop market if the number is right.

And yet, I can’t quit taking overs on the Chargers’ Quentin Johnston, for better or worse. OK, so it’s only been worse so far, as the rookie out of TCU has drastically underwhelmed expectations for him in his first season, hardly seeing the field — let alone Justin Herbert’s attention. He’s caught all of six passes for a measly 44 yards and has seen all of 29% of the team’s offensive snaps.

But there is no more Mike Williams for the season, new de facto WR2 Josh Palmer enters tonight truly questionable, the Cowboys secondary is in disarray after losing Trevon Diggs to a fluke knee injury in practice, and the Chargers are coming off a bye to further strategize how to utilize his skill set and actually get him involved. Plus, FanDuel has his receiving prop posted at 30.5 with standard juice, making me fall for it hook, line and sinker. There are lots of ways this could break in Johnston’s direction, especially if Palmer is out or limited, so lock it in fast.
