NFL Week 15 Props: No House Advantage

Amon-Ra St. Brown Prop, DET at NYJ: Under 7.5 Receptions

In what was a great matchup last week against a Vikings team that has allowed the most passing yards per game in the league, St. Brown produced a modest 68 yards on six receptions. He was coming off of back-to-back games with at least nine catches and 114 yards, making the performance even more disappointing. Still, it’s difficult to complain about his overall production with him totaling 82 receptions, 898 yards and six touchdowns for the season.

As good as St. Brown has been, this is a high number for him to hit. He has registered fewer than eight receptions in seven of his 12 games. This will also be a difficult matchup with the Jets’ defense allowing the fourth-fewest receptions to wide receivers in the league. Take the under.

Isiah Pacheco Prop, KC at HOU: Over 70.5 Rushing Yards

Pacheco has taken on a larger role for the Chiefs during the second half of the season. Over their first eight games, he registered eight or fewer carries six times. Since then, he has received at least 13 carries in five straight games. The increased workload helped him produce at least 66 rushing yards each time, including three games with at least 70 rushing yards.

There are a couple of factors working in Pacheco’s favor to have a big game. First, the Chiefs could blow out the vastly inferior Texans, which could lead to additional carries in the second half for Pacheco. Also, the Texans have allowed the most rushing yards per game in the league. If Pacheco can finish with between 15 and 20 carries, he could blow by this total.

Zonovan Knight Prop, NYJ vs. DET: Over 64.5 Rushing Yards

When the Jets lost Breece Hall (knee), it looked like Michael Carter was primed for additional work. The team then acquired James Robinson in a trade with the Jaguars. However, it has been Knight who has emerged at the position. He has received at least 14 carries in each of the last three games. He had 17 carries last week, compared to just five for Carter. Robinson was a healthy inactive.

With the way Knight has been playing, he’s not going to lose carries anytime soon. He has at least 69 rushing yards in each of the last three games and he scored his first touchdown last week. The Lions have allowed the seventh-most rushing yards per game in the league, leaving Knight with an excellent opportunity to hit the over.

Chris Moore Prop, HOU vs. KC: Over 2.5 Receptions

The Texans don’t have a ton of talent on offense to start with. Injuries are going to leave them in even worse shape for this matchup. Running back Dameon Pierce (ankle) is expected to not only be out for Week 15, but for multiple games. Brandin Cooks (calf) and Nico Collins (foot) were unable to play last week, and their status for this game is in doubt. Cooks was able to practice in a limited fashion Thursday, but Collins was not.

With Cooks and Collins out last week, Moore was targeted a whopping 11 times against the Cowboys. He caught 10 of them, finishing with 124 receiving yards. If Cooks and/or Collins remain out, Moore could once again receive a ton of targets as the Texans try to keep pace with Patrick Mahomes. Even if they play, Moore has at least three receptions in five of his last six games.
