Xzavion Curry has taken on an opener role for the Cleveland Guardians but will look to eat up more than two innings on Sunday. The Guardians will have Curry in their rotation going forward but will ease the RHP into it. He’s expected to finally go at least three innings, something he hasn’t done all season, but may not get to five to qualify for the win. With an injured plagued rotation, and Aaron Civale being on the move, Curry has a great opportunity to cement his name in the backend of the rotation that desperately needs him.

On the other side of the diamond, the White Sox will start 29-year-old RHP Jesse Scholtens. Scholtens made his third start of the season last time out and was mighty impressive. He allowed just one run on three hits to arguably the best offense in the AL, the Texas Rangers. It doesn’t get much easier on Sunday against the Guardians who are hitting for the second best batting average in the last 30 days against RHP and put the ball in play like the best of them. Meanwhile, the White Sox bats are looking to turn the page on 2023. Their hitting near the bottom of the league in all major hitting categories against RHP.

This game has a ton of question marks especially with how Sunday lineups tend to throw a doozy on bettors. Give me the better lineup and bullpen at home where they are 29-24.
