Top MLB Home Run Pick & Player Prop Bet for Friday, Oct. 27

Diamondbacks-Rangers Player Prop Bet

This is the series Zac Gallen shows up. He struggled against the Phillies in the NLCS, but they’ve had his number since he came into the league. Weirdly enough, Gallen has faced off against this Rangers quad twice this season, thanks to the new interleague scheduling. He was hit hard in those games but got out of jams when needed. He pitched five innings in the first matchup and six in the last duel in August.

With his struggles against the Phillies, people forget Gallen was a Cy Young candidate most of the season. He has terrific stuff and has been a workhorse for the Diamondbacks all season. He pitched the second most innings in all of baseball and registered a 3.47 ERA. Come this time of the season, leashes are short for starters, but a stud like Gallen can mow through innings in a hurry. If he can control his command, which he has yet to do this postseason, he has all the makings to go at least six innings tonight.

Head to DraftKings or BetMGM to bet this wager, as Caesars has Gallen posted at 15.5 with vig on the over.

Diamondbacks-Rangers Home Run Pick

This pitching matchup is heaven for MLB fans—Zac Gallen against Nathan Eovaldi. Gallen has the regular season pedigree, while Eovaldi is one of the best postseason pitchers the game has seen in the last 10 years. Do either of these two give up a home run tonight? Most likely. But I’m banking on the Diamondbacks hitters hitting a long ball against the woeful Rangers bullpen that has allowed seven home runs this postseason.

Our pick to hit a home run is Christian Walker. Yes, the same Christian Walker that looked lost at the plate in the NLCS. He’s only hit one home run this postseason, which came in the NLDS, but we can’t ignore his regular season that consisted of 33 home runs, of which 20 came against RHP. FanDuel has Walker listed at +370 so we’ll pivot to Caesars where you can get him at +440.
