Best NBA Bets Today | March 27

Philadelphia 76ers (+4.5) at Denver Nuggets

The 76ers will be playing against the Nuggets, and Joel Embiid is probably going to play despite being listed as questionable. The spread is currently 4.5 points, which can make some bettors nervous. However, the Nuggets have been a bit up and down, and with Embiid back in the lineup, the 76ers should at least cover, if not win outright.

Update: Joel Embiid ruled out.

Philadelphia 76ers at Denver Nuggets Under 229.5

The over/under for this game is 229.5 points, which seems a bit low, but the presence of Embiid and Nikola Jokic in the game could lead to slower possessions and fewer points. With both players on the court for longer periods, the pace should be more methodical and halfcourt-oriented. This will lead to fewer scoring opportunities, resulting in a lower total.

Jamal Murray 20+ Points

With James Harden potentially out of the game, the Sixers backcourt might struggle to contain Jamal Murray, who can easily score more than 20 points in this game. The Sixers defense is good but might not be able to contain Murray, who is averaging 20.2 points per game this season. His ability to create space and score quickly can lead to him exceeding the 20-point mark.

Nikola Jokic Under 26.5 Points

Jokic has been playing well this season, but he might struggle to score against the Sixers, who have one of the best defenses in the league. Jokic is averaging 24.9 points per game this season, and the line is set at 26.5 points for this game. With Embiid defending him, Jokic will look for shots less and instead create scoring opportunities for others. Also, as stated earlier, with both players being centers, the game might be slower paced.

Update: Joel Embiid ruled out.

Indiana Pacers (-1) vs. Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks are free falling. Indiana is not doing much better but is still favored by 1 point in this game. With the Pacers playing at home, they have a better chance of winning against a Dallas team that is paper thin and will be without Luka Doncic. The Mavericks have been struggling on the road, losing two straight, and that could make them vulnerable to the Pacers offense.

Editor’s Note (3/27 12:23 p.m.): Luka Doncic‘s 16th technical foul was rescinded after publication. He is available to play tonight against the Pacers.
