Best NBA PrizePicks Props: Tyrese Haliburton Staring Down Award

As the NBA season chugs along, schedule-makers have blessed fans and bettors tonight as a massive eleven-game slate is prepared to close the work week. In one of the night’s earlier matchups, Tyrese Haliburton and the Pacers will host the Portland Trail Blazers in Indiana. A superstar matchup between LaMelo Ball‘s Hornets and the Giannis-led Milwaukee Bucks will then tip-off about an hour later. Nevertheless, onto the best NBA PrizePicks for this evening.

Best NBA PrizePicks

Tyrese Haliburton Prop: Over 32.5 Points/Rebounds/Assists

While the season is still young, Tyrese Haliburton looks like one of the league’s best guards. He’s averaging 34.8 points/rebounds assists on the year while playing 33.5 minutes per game. He’s been even better over his last five games in tougher, more competitive matchups.

In those five games Haliburton played the Hawks, Cavaliers, Clippers, Raptors, and 76ers and managed to go over 32.5 points/rebounds/assists against four of those teams. He averaged 35.8 points/rebounds/assists over that time and had 40 or more points/rebounds/assists twice. In those last five, Haliburton also averaged 25.6 combined rebound chances/potential assists per game so it’s safe to say that he’s getting every opportunity to hit this line. The OddsShopper tools show that this play is listed at -125 on DraftKings and has a 55% chance to win.

LaMelo Ball Prop: Over 12.5 Rebounds/Assists

Another day, another LaMelo Ball player prop. The Hornets stud point guard continues to impress this year, and he is all but forcing bettors to play his overs. This play has been in the write-ups recently and there’s no issue with attacking it over and over until PrizePicks adjusts the line. Unbelievably the line has gone down compared to the last few games, despite Ball constantly clearing the recent lines of 13.5 and 14.5.

LaMelo Ball is averaging 26 combined rebound chances/potential assists over his last five games, averaging 16 rebounds/assists per game. He’s also recorded 13 or more rebounds/assists in eight of his last nine outings and has averaged 14 per game over that span. The only intimidating thing about this play is the threat of blowout potential taking minutes away. However, Ball seems to be one of maybe two or three Hornets players that still finds his way to 33 or more minutes even in heavily lopsided affairs. Just last game, the Grizzlies beat Charlotte by 24 points and LaMelo still played 35 minutes.
