Welcome to the Monday edition of the best PrizePicks plays. Picking the right projections can be a tough task, but with the help of OddsShopper’s NBA DFS Pick’em Tools, Stokastic’s NBA Pick’Em Pro tool and some diligent research, we’ve got you covered. Let’s dive into the best PrizePicks NBA picks and player projections for Monday, including one play for Nikola Jokic.

We have a big 12-game slate tonight with a few notable players questionable for their games, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, RJ Barrett and Devin Vassell. Markelle Fultz, De’Aaron Fox, C.J. McCollum and Jamal Murray are all out, freeing up good value on their respective teams.

PrizePicks NBA Player Predictions | Nov. 6

Nikola Jokic M/L 58 Fantasy Score

Jokic is averaging 1.65 fantasy points per minute, slightly behind Joel Embiid at 1.70, but which is still a ridiculous amount. Since the start of last season, Jokic is averaging 1.63 fantasy points per minute. However, Jamal Murray is out for tonight’s contest against the Pelicans, and with Murray off the court, Jokic’s average ticks up to 1.67 in that time span. In 86 minutes this season without Murray, Jokic is at 1.83!

Denver is favored in this game by 6.5 points with a total of 221.5. We have the Joker projected for 61.48 fantasy points with a 62% boom rating, the highest on tonight’s slate. Additionally, if you like historical stats, Jokic is averaging 64.7 fantasy points in 37.1 minutes in his last three matchups against Jonas Valanciunas, including two triple-doubles.

Best PrizePicks NBA Player Prediction: Nikola Jokic More Than 58 Fantasy Score

Tyrese Maxey M/L 37.5 Fantasy Score

Tyrese Maxey has made this list multiple times because PrizePicks still has not adjusted to his dominant play. Tonight’s matchup with the Wizards is a favorable one. The Wizards play at the fastest pace in the NBA through five games, and they will likely remain in the top three all season with their roster construction. They rank 29th in defensive rating as well as 30th in all three of points, assists and 3-pointers allowed.

Washington games will be a fantasy point Mecca this year, and tonight we’ll see Maxey take full advantage. Maxey ranks third in the NBA in minutes at 38.3 per game and is averaging 26.2 points per game.

Best PrizePicks NBA Player Prediction: Tyrese Maxey More Than 37.5 Fantasy Score

Joel Embiid M/L 15.5 1H Points

I love stacking a good game environment, and this is one of those games. We just talked about how Washington’s games are a fantasy point Mecca. Joel Embiid and Maxey can both have a day. Notice this is a first-half prop total. Embiid is currently sixth in scoring at 29.4 points per game and is playing 33.4 minutes, which is great to see for a guy with his kind of injury history.  The reigning MVP is averaging 15.4 1H points per game, right at this number. Philadelphia is favored by 11.5 points with a total of 228 tonight. This game could get out of hand early, and I can see Embiid scoring 25 points in the first half and sitting out the entire fourth quarter if the 76ers have a big lead.

Embiid is averaging 37.8 points per game in six games when Daniel Gafford was the opposing starting center over the last three seasons. He had 48 points in a game last year where the Wizards were more solid defensively and ran at a slower pace. Lock it in!

Best PrizePicks NBA Player Prediction: Joel Embiid More Than 15.5 1H Points
