DraftKings Pick6 Predictions for Today’s NBA Slate (March 1)

We just missed the 3-0 sweep by a Luguentz Dort rebound, but nice to hit the weekend on a positive note. Nine games tonight to sift through and mine the best value. There are some larger spreads Friday night in the NBA, starting with three in the early action. The Wizards are getting 15 in LA against the Clippers – providing a possible blowout angle. Let’s dive into the best DraftKings Pick6 predictions for today’s NBA action. Looking for more NBA pick’em advice? Check out the rest of our NBA articles or our NBA pick’em tools. Here’s the lowdown on DraftKings Pick6: It is meant to mirror most pick’em sites, allowing you to build a two- to six-leg entry with larger payouts for more correct choices. However, the new product is peer-to-peer, meaning the strategy lies in beating other players in pre-selected tournaments rather than beating the house, making it important to be contrarian!

DraftKings Pick6 Predictions for Today’s NBA Slate

Jonathan Kuminga M/L 27.5 PRA

We faded Kuminga’s Golden State Warriors teammate in this same category last night against the New York Knicks. The Warriors now head north to face the Toronto Raptors. It’s not just the second leg of the back-to-back on the road, but Kuminga also played 30 minutes against the Knicks’ frontcourt last night. Toronto has been up and down, more down at home than not, but the Ratpors can force some faster tempo and give up north of 117 points per game.

Now arguably the second most popular name on his team behind Stephen Curry, Kuminga will be a popular slam to go over this number. After all, he’s cleared it in three straight games. We know that followed up a five-game drought with him failing to clear 28 PRA, and I’m backing him to stay below it again.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Jonathan Kuminga LESS Than 27.5 PRA

Myles Turner M/L 17.5 Points

Both the Indiana Pacers and New Orleans Pelicans are trying to gain some ground in their respective conferences, with Indy in seventh and New Orleans sixth. Without going too deep into Turner’s history, we can see his most recent game — against this very same opponent.

The two teams just played on Wednesday night and Turner scored fewer than this 17.5-point total with 14. While Turner has failed to hit 18 points in three of his last four, what’s more concerning about taking the over was Turner’s inability to take advantage of the Pelicans front court.

Centers are averaging 20+ points per game against New Orleans, yet even with the pacing from Indy and a win, Turner was limited up front to just 14 points. Don’t expect that to tune changing tonight in New Orleans as Turner will stay true to his recent performances.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Myles Turner LESS Than 17.5 Points

Kyle Kuzma M/L 7.5 Rebounds

Kyle Kuzma comes off a double whammy — he just played 37 minutes last night and suffered an overtime loss to his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers. His Wizards team is currently a 15-point dog in LA. The Clippers could just run them out of the arena tonight.

Kuzma is streaky with his rebounding, recording more than 7.5 rebounds in four of his last six games but tallying less than that in five straight beforehand. Those five games capped off a stretch of seven of eight games in which he tallied less than 7.5 rebounds. This is a solid spot to catch people sleeping with regression and a letdown script in store.

The pendulum swings against Kuzma’s rebounding as the Wizards’ starters should be in for a light night of work thanks to the Clippers.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Kyle Kuzma LESS Than 7.5 Rebounds
