NBA Parlay Picks Today: +273 Bet for Wednesday
Chet Holmgren o15.5 Points (NBA Player Prop)
We start off our NBA parlay today by getting some strong +100 value on a player prop for Chet Holmgren. We’re going to ride with the OVER on 15.5 points for Holmgren tonight against the Utah Jazz.
I couldn’t believe we were getting such incredible value on this line when I found it this morning, so I had to hammer this baby immediately on DraftKings.
Holmgren has seen an uptick in his scoring in since February, and most of it is due to an improved shooting touch — mainly from beyond the 3-point line, which is a positive sign.
However, why we love this spot for Chet boils down to two reasons mainly:
- Pace: Thunder are 8th, Jazz are 10th
- Matchup: Utah has no one to defend him
If Utah tries to play big, that leaves Walker Kessler on the floor trying to keep up with Chet in space. He’ll win that battle every time.
If Utah wants to go small, that leaves John Collins left to defend Chet since Lauri Markkanen is OUT.
The total for this game has gone up from 231.5 where it opened, to 237.5, so we’re looking at a healthy projected total here. Fire up some points with Chet, who has some of the tastiest matchups on the board tonight.
Jaren Jackson u32.5 PRA (NBA Player Prop)
We’ve been riding with a lot of unders lately, which I know many of you are NOT fond of. However, the bets pay out the same when you win whether they’re overs or unders. And we’ve been cashing some unders on Jaren Jackson Jr.of late.
This Grizzlies-Warriors game isn’t a great one if we’re being totally honest, and there’s some big-time blowout risk in this game, which is a small part of the play here.
Jackson has a PRA line of 32.5 tonight, which we’re fading.
The Warriors are the No. 1 rebounding team in the NBA this season, and we know JJJ is not one to get dirty on the glass.
Desmond Bane is back in the picture, so it takes away some of the shot volume he was getting when he was the only show in town as well.
Jackson’s usage rate is likely to decrease with the ball being in Bane’s hands more as well, and the only real way Jackson goes over this number is if he score 26-28 points.
Is it possible? Sure. Of course it is. Will I take my chances of him scoring that many points to give me the blade with Draymond Green defending him most of the game? Absolutely.
And, remember … you have to be on the floor to accumulate stats. If you’re getting blown out — or in foul trouble — you’re likely not on the floor.
