There’s also great value across the market for the 3-Point Contest. You can use OddsShopper’s tools to make the sharpest bets and find the best NBA Slam Dunk Contest odds as the event nears.

NBA Odds: NBA Slam Dunk Contest Odds

NBA Slam Dunk Contest Odds, per DraftKings:

Mac McClung +160
Jericho Sims +200
Kenyon Martin Jr. +250
Trey Murphy III +300

Oddsmakers haven’t put much separation between the this year’s NBA Slam Dunk Contest participants. Mac McClung, Jericho Sims, Kenyon Martin Jr. and Trey Murphy III are separated by just $1.40 on the odds board. The race got tighter last week when the fifth contestant Day’ron Sharpe withdrew from the event.

The winner of last year’s event was Obi Toppin, but he will not return to defend his crown. None of the four contestants in this year’s NBA Slam Dunk Contest competed in the event last year.

For the favorite, McClung, this will not only be his first dunk contest, but also some of his first NBA action. He appeared in just two games last season, one with the Los Angeles Lakers and the other with the Chicago Bulls. McClung was recalled by the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this week from their G-League affiliate and played twelve minutes off the bench in a win against the Washington Wizards.

NBA rules allowed McClung to compete despite not being on an active roster. However, he can now claim to represent the 76ers this All-Star weekend when he finds himself in the improbable circumstances of being a favorite to win the Slam Dunk Contest.

McClung shared some thoughts on the contest on his Twitter page last week:

McClung is followed on the odds board by Jericho Sims (+200), K.J. Martin Jr. (+250) and Trey Murphy III (+300). Sims and Murphy are in their second NBA seasons. Martin is in his third year as a pro.

Bettors should continue following OddsShopper for news and analysis throughout the All-Star festivities. Those looking to bet into this market now should head to DraftKings to find the prices listed above.
