On Wednesday, Maryland becomes the latest state to launch legal mobile sports betting, opening up a variety of ways to bet on sports through apps. With the launch comes competition from sportsbooks and plenty of promos that offer ways to claim what is essentially free money.

A soft launch took place on Monday where betting was available for a brief time, but it officially launches in the state at 9 a.m. local time on Wednesday.
