Tee Higgins Injury News: Fantasy Football Impact of Bengal’s Receiver Battling Concussion Heading Into Week 2

It sounds like things are trending in the right direction for Cincinnati Bengals receiver Tee Higgins to suit up this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

Following their Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Bengals placed Higgins in concussion protocol, but he appears to be passing all the tests that would deem him eligible to play this Sunday.

When speaking to the media on Tuesday, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said that Higgins has been making “good progress” thus far in his recovery.

“He’s making good progress through the protocol,” Taylor said in his Wednesday press conference. “I can’t 100 percent predict [if he’s going to play] today, I just know he’s cleared the hurdles so far that he needs to clear… He won’t be in the team action, but he’ll be in the routes-on-air and the group install stuff,” Taylor said via PFT.

Tee Higgins Fantasy Football Ranking & Analysis

Coming into the season, we had Higgins ranked as Stokastic’s No. 11 wide receiver on our Stokastic fantasy football cheat sheet as he figures to build on an impressive second season in the NFL.

In 2021, Higgins proved to be the second part of one of the most lethal 1-2 receiver combos in the NFL with Ja’Marr Chase. He caught 74 passes for 1,091 yards and six touchdowns on the season.

Before leaving with a concussion in Week 1, Higgins caught just two passes for 27 yards in his 26 snaps played in the game.

Still, if Higgins is healthy, he’d be a comfortable start in Week 2 of fantasy football. Hopefully, he’s able to give it a go against the Cowboys, and we’ll continue to track for updates.
